Staff Volunteer Day 2024
During the federal holiday on Monday, the bank was closed, and our employees went out to volunteer in the community. Across our market areas, employees completed 22 projects, positively impacting the communities we serve.
In Black River Falls, staff volunteered at the Black River Falls Public Library and the Chamber of Commerce.
Staff in Bloomer volunteered to paint the ice-skating rink, garden at Dove Healthcare, put up holiday displays at North Park, and clean up SFB's spot on Hwy F.
Durand staff participated in a variety of projects including volunteering at the Assumption Catholic School, St. Vincent de Paul Thrift Store, Holden Park, Pepin County Heritage Center, and SFB's Adopt-a-Highway section.
Staff from the Eau Claire branch location volunteered at the Chippewa County Outreach Services while the corporate office employees volunteered at LE Phillips Memorial Public Library, Eau Claire Humane Association, Sojourner House, and for the City of Eau Claire Parks Department.
Ladysmith staff participated in volunteer activities at the Connections Thrift Store, Rusk County Animal Shelter, and at the Village of Sheldon and Village of Bruce buildings.
Finally, the staff at River Falls cleaned up the Kinnickinnic River and volunteered at Our Neighbors Place.
We are grateful to live and work in such great communities. This day allowed employees to connect with their team members and make a meaningful difference in the community.
