SFB Donates $50,000 Gift to Eau Claire Community Foundation

Security Financial Bank recently donated $50,000 to the Eau Claire Community Foundation (ECCF) to establish the Security Financial Bank Foundation Fund. This donor advised fund will enable ECCF to further support community initiatives that address pressing local needs in areas such as education, social services, and the arts.

A Shared Commitment to Community Development

For more than 90 years, SFB has proudly served communities throughout Western Wisconsin and has been a dedicated part of the Eau Claire community for the past 15 years. This long-term commitment is reflected in the bank's continued support for initiatives that foster regional growth and community well-being.

"We are sincerely thankful for Security Financial Bank's outstanding generosity," said Wesley Escondo, ECCF president & CEO. "This gift not only strengthens our capacity to make a difference in the lives of Eau Claire County residents but also exemplifies the powerful community bonds that drive lasting, positive change. We are excited to work alongside SFB to create even more opportunities for our community."

Empowering Local Impact Through Strategic Philanthropy

The new donor advised fund will serve as a vehicle for community investment across various sectors. By providing vital support to diverse community projects, this fund will contribute to sustainable, long-term development in the region.

Reflecting on the partnership, SFB President & CEO Mark Oldenberg shared, "We are honored to support the Eau Claire Community Foundation in this initiative. Having moved our corporate office to Eau Claire in 2017, we are deeply committed to the community. This donation is a testament to that commitment, and we are excited about the significant impact our joint effort will have on enhancing local quality of life."
