SFB Welcomes Daniel Pohnl as Relationship Manager

Mark Oldenberg, president and CEO of Security Financial Bank (SFB), is pleased to announce that Daniel Pohnl has joined the SFB team as the vice president - commercial relationship manager. Pohnl will work out of the Eau Claire office.  

A banking professional for more than 10 years, Pohnl has expertise in commercial and industrial lending as well as commercial real estate lending.  

"Welcoming Danny to our team marks an exciting chapter for us," Oldenberg said. "His lending proficiency will play an important role as we look ahead to the future."

Pohnl received a bachelor's degree in accounting and finance from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. He will complete the Graduate School of Banking at the University of Wisconsin-Madison and receive an Executive Leadership Certificate this August.  

"I am looking forward to working for an organization where decisions are made locally by community leaders and board members, right here in the Chippewa Valley," Pohnl said. "SFB has a long, successful history and I am looking forward to contributing to SFB's future successes."

Pohnl serves on the Board of Directors of the Chippewa Valley Free Clinic. He fills his free time coaching Altoona Youth Softball and Baseball and spending time with his wife and three children. You can also find Danny golfing, fishing, hunting, and watching the Packers and Badgers outside of work.
