SFB Staff Volunteer Day
SFB employees enjoyed a day of volunteering on October 9. While the bank was closed for the federal holiday, our teams helped several organizations across our communities.
Corporate Office employees volunteered at Boys & Girls Clubs of the Greater Chippewa Valley and the Eau Claire YMCA. They also helped Eau Claire Parks, Recreation & Forestry with staining Carson Park's fan deck.
Black River Falls and Alma Center employees completed a variety of different projects in the Jackson County area. Teams volunteered at Care Partners Country Terrace Assisted Living, Black River Falls City Recreation Department, Interfaith Volunteers, Jackson County Animal Shelter, Pine View Terrace, and a participated in a highway clean up.
Bloomer employees volunteered at the G.E. Bleskacek Family Memorial Library-Bloomer, Bloomer Fairgrounds, Dove Healthcare, and SFB's Adopt-a-Highway section during the staff volunteer day.
Durand employees worked on a GaGa ball pit for the middle school students at Durand-Arkansaw School District, volunteered at Ave Maria Academy PC, cleaned up the Pepin County Humane Society's yard, and picked up garbage on SFB's Adopt-a-Highway section.
Eau Claire employees volunteered at Hope Village Chippewa Falls helping with yard work and maintenance.
Ladysmith employees lent their services to the Rusk County Animal Shelter, Sheldon Community Club, and Choices Health Network during our staff volunteer day. River Falls employees split into groups to assist Pleasant Pasture Inc Farm Animal Sanctuary with painting on the property and Our Neighbors' Place, Inc. with unloading food at Ezekiel Lutheran Church.We are the bankers who believe in community.
