Jenny Jereczek Joins WBA Ag Bankers Section Board
Jenny Jereczek, director of Security Financial Bank's Ag Banking department, was recently appointed to a three-year term on the Wisconsin Bankers Association (WBA) Ag Bankers Section Board. The WBA Agricultural Bankers Section, comprised of members who specialize in agricultural lending, is very active in government relations that affect agriculture.
At SFB, Jereczek uses her passion for agriculture to help her ag clients succeed. She has expertise in several government lending programs, including Farm Service Agency, SBA, WHEDA, and USDA programs, and is licensed to sell crop insurance.
"Our clients look to us to not only be involved in promoting and understanding their industry, but to also foster the growth and education of our industry peers," Jereczek said. "I am excited for the opportunity to be involved at the state level in the education and advocacy of our industry."
The Wisconsin Bankers Association is the state's largest financial industry trade association, representing over 200 commercial banks and savings institutions and more than 35,000 employees. WBA promotes a healthy environment for banks in Wisconsin through actively advocating for, educating, and supporting its members. WBA members who focus on one specific area may choose to join a Section.
"It is great to see our bankers involved in local and state organizations such as WBA. It demonstrates our commitment to the industries and communities we serve," said Mark Oldenberg, SFB president and CEO.
