Hurlburt Heating, AC & Plumbing Named COVID Hero

Throughout the year, SFB has been recognizing community members, businesses, and nonprofit organizations that have made a significant impact in helping the lives of others during the COVID-19 pandemic. Each month, we select a hero to feature. This month, SFB proudly recognizes Greg & Amy Mericle and their team at Hurlburt Heating, AC & Plumbing.
In March of last year, Hurlburt launched a "Love Local" campaign and encouraged people to purchase gift certificates to locally owned businesses. Hurlburt then matched each certificate purchased to double its value. Because of this extraordinary idea and generosity, nearly $50,000 was spent at locally owned small businesses in the Chippewa Valley and surrounding areas. We think that definitely makes them COVID-19 heroes!
As a small recognition for their efforts, SFB donated to five area non-profit organizations of their choice in honor of the company's commitment to our communities. Thank you, Hurlburt Heating, AC & Plumbing!
