Lender Spotlight with Norb Christman
Norb Christman serves as the market president of SFB's Ladysmith location. Working at the bank for more than 15 years, he embodies all the qualities of a committed commercial relationship manager. After attending Northwood Technical College, his career has been dedicated to helping banking clients achieve their business goals.
A lifelong resident of Ladysmith, Christman specializes in commercial lending for the manufacturing, logging, and transportation industries, assisting business owners all over the region.
"The industries I work with are not retail businesses the average person would know, but they are the backbone of the area we live in," Christman said. "The clients I work with are some of the most hardworking, dedicated people, and their success is very important to me and SFB."
The opportunity to share SFB's bank products and services with his customers is what motivates Christman each day.
"The growing number of specialized electronic services we offer is great for the people in this community," Christman said. "To have access to big bank services that are paired with local bank relationships is special."
You can find Christman all over Rusk County being active in committees and nonprofits. He is a member of the Ladysmith Community Industrial Development Corporation Board, on the Northwood Technical College Financial Services Advisory Committee, a clerk for the Rusk County Livestock Project Auction, and a voting member of the Northwest Wisconsin Business Development Corporation.
Looking to the future, Christman hopes to spend more time with his friends and family as well as create new business relationships and enhance his current relationships.
