Lender Spotlight with Kimberly Bunce

Kimberly Bunce has been an Eau Claire resident most of her life. She grew up in Eau Claire, went to the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, and after spending five years in Minneapolis, came back to raise her family in Eau Claire. You can often find Security Financial Bank's relationship manager at ribbon cuttings for new businesses, the Farmers Market, Jacob's Well Church, and the tennis and pickleball courts.

After receiving her bachelor's degree in accounting, Bunce worked as a certified public accountant (CPA) for many years. Recognizing her passion was in face-to-face interaction, she switched career paths to sales. Bunce then joined SFB as a commercial relationship manager in the fall of 2019.

"My friend planted the seed of a career in banking, and I haven't looked back," Bunce said. "I come to work each day excited to learn new things and build on my knowledge to create and develop relationships."

Bunce has expertise in helping clients in the insurance, medical, manufacturing, and real estate industries. She has an excellent attention to detail and personable approach that brings comfort to her clients. "I hope to continue to grow my professional relationships and banking portfolio in the future," Bunce said.

As a passionate relationship builder, Bunce has been an Eau Claire Chamber Ambassador for 25 years. She is so proud of how Eau Claire has grown to add music, art, and many new businesses over the years.

"Seeing the continuing innovations in Eau Claire gives me so much pride," she added.

Bunce also has a great interest in health and fitness. She enjoys being outside any time of year to exercise. Involved in the YMCA, Bunce is a Board member and teaches water aerobics classes. Personal goals for Bunce include working on her golf game and she hopes to one day be blessed with grandkids.
