Online Account Access and Security
Online and mobile banking have many tools including account management, remote deposit, bill pay, and more. To protect your account from unauthorized activity and fraudsters, SFB marks your online account as dormant if there is no login activity in 120 days. This means after 120 days you will not be able to access your account on your own, and you will need to contact customer service to regain access.
As an added fraud prevention measure, after 180 days of no login activity within your account, your online banking access will be deleted. After this, you will need to set up your login information again in order to use online and mobile banking.
This is a safety measure that ensures you don't leave your online banking account unattended for too long. Regularly reviewing your accounts can help you spot any unfamiliar charges or suspicious activity before it's too late.
